Bow Tie Pasta and Kidney Bean Medley

Ingredients:

1 16 oz package organic bow tie pasta (or Farfalle) *I use Montebello*

2 cans dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 medium onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 jar of your favorite organic pasta sauce (you can use an additional jar for more sauce)

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Place onion and bell pepper in skillet and sauté until onion becomes translucent.

Add garlic and sauté an additional 1-2 minutes. Do not burn garlic.

Add pasta sauce and heat through.

Combine cooked and drained pasta with sautéed vegetables and pasta sauce.

Serve and enjoy!
